Frederick "John" Noyes
1936 - 2012
DALTON - Frederick "John" Noyes, Jr., 75, of 217 South St., Dalton, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 27, 1936, son of Frederick J. Noyes, Sr., and Isabella Kotleski Noyes, he was a graduate of Lee High School and Berkshire Community College. Mr. Noyes was employed by General Electric Company in its Ordnance Systems Division for 32 years retiring in 1982.
He was a NASCAR fan who enjoyed racing at Lebanon Valley. He was also a New York Giants fan.
Mr. Noyes leaves his wife, the former Bernice Plant, whom he married Feb. 12, 1963. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Raymond Noyes of Dalton, Samuel Noyes of Pittsfield, Jason Noyes of South Carolina, and Christopher Noyes of Lee; two daughters, Michelle Noyes Stone of Pittsfield, and Kayla Noyes of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Peter Noyes of Lenox; 15 grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Chad, Mat, Brett, Vinnie, Kaitlyn, Madison, Marshal, Jordan, Ariana, Jakera, Xavier, Ethan, and Bellaneicey, and three great-grandchildren, Lex, Parker, and Kennedy.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Frederick John Noyes, Jr., will be private. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Noyes may be made to the in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
