Gary A. Beaudreau

1952 - 2014 FRANKLIN Gary A. Beaudreau 62, died peacefully, Friday, Oct. 3, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, surrounded by his family, following an 18-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the beloved husband of Camille F. (Mussi) Beaudreau. Born Apr. 18, 1952, in North Adams, a son of the late Viateur J. and Veronica V. (Allard) Beaudreau, he was a Franklin resident for over 40 years. He was raised and educated in North Adams, and attended Berkshire Community College where he received an art degree. Passionate about education, he then attended Dean College and received a business degree, Bentley College and received a masters in business administration and a MBA from Suffolk University. He most recently was a graduate of the Life Transformation Program at Hippocrates Health Institute. Gary was the Director of Procurement Operations for Xcellerex of Marlborough, Mass. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, all sports especially golf, playing the guitar, and was an accomplished artist. Gary was a former member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks, was a coach for Franklin Youth Girls Softball and was part of the Big Brother & Big Sister Organization. In addition to his wife of 41 years, he leaves his children, Stacey L. Beaudreau, Douglas J. Beaudreau, and Jillian M. Beaudreau, all of Franklin; a brother, Edmond A. Beaudreau and his wife, Alice, of North Adams; Jacqueline M. Betti and her husband, Gregory, of North Adams; a sister-in-law, Joey Beaudreau, of Simsbury, Conn.; many nieces, nephews; and was a big brother to Matt Rakiey. He was the brother of the late Viateur J. Beaudreau, Jr. FUNERAL NOTICE: Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Wednesday, Oct. 8th, at 9 a.m. from the CHARLES F. OTERI AND SON FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME 33 Cottage St. Franklin, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 10 a.m. His interment will be held privately. Calling hours S are Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to Hippocrates Health Institute, 1466 Hippocrates Way, West Palm Beach, FL 34111.
