1926 - 2014 ADAMS Gisele M. "Sue" Gould 88, of 31 East Rd., passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, at the home of her son Shaun in Adams. Born in Adams on Sept. 7, 1926, daughter of the late Phillippe and Lucina Caron Pelletier, she attended Adams schools including the former Notre Dame Elementary School. She first was employed with the former Arnold Print Works in Adams, after which she became employed for several years for the North Adams School System where she retired and became a homemaker. Sue was a communicant of Notre Dams des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her husband, Charles R. Gould, whom she married on Sept. 15, 1962, died July 8, 2012. She is survived by four sons, Stephen Gould, Shaun Gould, Matthew Gould, all of Adams, and David Gould and his companion, Irene Fachini, of Savoy; two sisters, Theresa Dolle of Clarksburg, Beatrice Pelletier of Adams; two grandchildren, Brittany LaVigne, Joshua Gould; two great-grandchildren, Landon LaVigne and Emma LaVigne; a sister-in-law, Helene W. Gajda; a brother-in-law, John T. Gould; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Phillippe, Joseph and Guy Pelletier; five sisters, Lucienne Pelletier, Bernadette Kondel, Lucille Zieba, Jeanne D' arc Robert, Mary "Gabby" Pelletier; and a sister-in-law, Betty Gould SSJ. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Sue will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 12 p.m. in Notre Dame Church in Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor of the St. John Paul II Parishes in Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA. 01220 will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Berkshire VNA & Hospice for the wonderful care given for Sue, and donations in her memory can be made to Berkshire VNA & Hospice in care of the funeral home.
