Glenn C. Hiltpold

Glenn C. Hiltpold, 73, of Quail Run Estates, passed away at his residence on July 4, 2014.He was born in Springfield, a son of the late Albert George and Mabel Clark Hiltpold. Prior to his retirement, Glenn was employed as a machinist for American Saw, East Longmeadow, Mass. He enjoyed his "crony time, " driving around with his friends, sipping coffee and enjoying a good conversation. He made friends very easily and no matter what part of the country he went to, he seemed to know someone. In addition to his "cronies," Glenn will be missed by his beloved family, a son, Glenn Hiltpold and his spouse Va Shon, of Wakefield, Mass.; a daughter, Tina Hiltpold and her partner Jeb Seelig, of Longmeadow, Mass.; two brothers, Neil Hiltpold and his spouse Nancy, of Pittsfield, Mass., Dean Hiltpold of Albuqurque, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Mark Hiltpold, Kendell Hiltpold, Destiny Hiltpold, Angela Hiltpold; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Gathering on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at COLONIAL FORASTIERE FAMILY FUNERAL AND CREMATION, 985 Main St., Agawam, Mass. 413- 786-2600. Glenn was laid to rest in a private ceremony, next to his parents, in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield, Mass. Please omit flowers. The family would appreciate memorial contributions made in Glenn's memory to Epilepsy Foundation, New England Center, 335 Main St., Unit 8, Wilmington, MA 01887.
