Hazel Christine Meacham Burdick

1908-2014 Hazel Christine (Meacham) Burdick, 105, formerly of Champagne Ave. in Williamstown, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Williamstown Commons. She was born in Savoy, MA on August 26, 1908, daughter of the late John Cullen Meacham and Maude E. (Burnett) Meacham. Hazel attended school in Savoy, MA. She was last employed at Cornish Wire in Williamstown. She was the widow of Harold Wesley Burdick. She was the holder of the Boston Post Cane as oldest resident in the Town of Williamstown. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. Survivors include her four grandchildren; Richard Cummings of Pownal, VT, Mark Burdick of Hancock, MA, Scott Burdick of Berlin, NY and Julie Snow of Hancock, MA. She also leaves great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her son, Wesley Burdick and daughter, Jeannette Cummings Jones.
