Paul and I will always remember how kind and funny Helen was with our family when we first moved to Gt. Barrington in 1985. Josie and I met working at WSBS.Our children, Petra and Zachary were 5 and 6 years old. When Josie invited our family to her home, Helen ALWAYS wanted to make sure that the children ate something---healthy! Helen always engaged in conversation and took great delight in doing so. Helen had a quick wit and a warm spirit. She'll be missed.

Josie & Jamie & Family, I was so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Helen was a special lady, she was always smiling and doing something for everyone. She was so proud of her job at Big Y. She took great pride in anything that she did. Anytime I saw her she would always ask me about my mom and step dad, when they passed and I saw her she gave me words of encoragement. She will be missed for sure. I loved her very much. Gail Colantoni

Jamie & family,
I send my thoughts & prayers. I have fond memories of visiting your Mom's house when I was a little girl with my Aunt Alice & Uncle Joe Badurski. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Helen. She was always fun to be around.
She laughed, had a good sense of humor and was a very friendly lady. Helen was a good person snd as good Polish Lady. It was always fun running into her at Big "Y" and I'd say --- "I just don't want samples, I want some good Polish food". Her answer "I'll try to talk them into kielbasa tomorrow".
