1925 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Mrs. Ida Mae Cacicio, 90, of Elaine Drive, died at her home on Wednesday, October 21st, in the loving presence of her family. Born August 13, 1925, she was the daughter of Michael and Rose Dunadi Catalano. Ida Mae was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and the best friend of eight sisters, three brothers, numerous cousins and was a favorite Aunt to many. A master of both jigsaw and crossword puzzles, she enjoyed painting family portraits and beautiful scenery. She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Most of all, she was happiest sitting around the kitchen table, laughing with family. She is survived by her sons, Gary Noble of Orlando, FL and Michael Jack Cacicio of Chicago, IL; her daughter, Lisa Pelkey of Pittsfield; her grandson, David Pelkey and her great-granddaughter, Audrianna Pelkey. She also leaves two sisters; Frances Polidoro and her husband, Paul; Dolores Colwell and her husband, John; one brother, Carl Catlin and his wife, Vicki. In addition to other siblings, Ida Mae was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, L. Frank Cacicio, who died in 2002, and her daughter, Roxanne Noble, who died in 2000. SERVICES: Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Ida's honor to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home, 40 Maplewood Avenue, Pittsfield, MA 01201, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
