1926 - 2015 NORTH ADAMS Isabel Mary (Gaun) Superneau, 89 of Hall Street, died at her home on Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born in North Adams, MA on May 12, 1926, a daughter to the late Howard and Ida (Day) Gaun. She attended schools in Clarksburg. She was employed for many years at the lunch counter of JJ Newberry's in North Adams. Mrs. Superneau married her husband, Kenneth D. Superneau on June 18, 1989. Mr. Superneau died on December 31, 2014. She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, baking, word puzzles and playing cards. Her greatest joy was being a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include three sons; Mark Daub of Texas, Richard Daub and Keith Daub, also of North Adams. She leaves three step-daughters; Kathleen Ballou of Monroe, Marleen Superneau of North Adams and Diane Copper of Newburyport as well as a step-son, Richard Superneau and his wife, Helen of Clarksburg. She also leaves two grandchildren, Kellie Herzberg and Michele Francoeur, and several great-grandchildren as well as step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Underwood and a brother, Harold Gaun. FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Isabel Mary (Gaun) Superneau will be held at 7p.m. at the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, MA. Calling hours will be from 4p.m. until the time of the service. A private burial will be held in the Clarksburg Cemetery.
