Jacques Gazaille
1932 - 2015 ADAMS Jacques Norman Gazaille, 82, of 3 Myrtle St., passed away Monday, Feb. 23, at his home. Born in Mansville, R.I. on Oct. 23, 1932, son of the late Evariste and Agnes St. Germain Gazaille he came to Adams as a child with his parents, attended Adams schools and was a graduate of the former Adams High School. He was employed for many years with the former Arnold Print Works in Adams as a union printer. His last place of employment was for the Hoosac Valley High School in the maintenance dept., and where he retired. Norman was a US Army Korean War veteran, he was a member of North Adams Post 125 of the American Legion, and Adams Post 1995 of the VFW. His first wife, the former Betty Burdick, died June 21, 1989. He is survived by his second wife, the former Marlene Shaw; a son, Michael Gazaille and his wife, Melanie, of Savoy; a brother, George Gazaille of Cheshire; two grandchildren, Lucas Gazaille of Adams, Jennifer Walker and her companion, Harry Nunn, of Savoy; two great-grandchildren, Shelby Gazaille, Dylan Walker; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Keith Gazaille; three brothers, Leo, Henry, Joseph Gazaille; and a sister,Theresa Briggs. Calling hours at the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams will be Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Services and Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.

OMG!!! I am so sorry to hear so late about uncle norman!! He was one of my favorite uncles. May god keep him in his everlasting kingdom and reunite him with those we have loved and lost.If you guys need anything let me know.

My condolences to Jacgue's family and friends. I enjoyed talking with him when we worked at the High School...He had a good sense of humor...he was a really nice guy to know. I know he will be missed.
