James A. Davis
1950 - 2013 NORTH ADAMS James A. Davis, 62, of 7 Murray Ave., died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Williamstown Commons.
He was born in North Adams on Sept. 14, 1950, a son of the late William Davis and Mary (Antenucci) Davis. He graduated from Drury High School in 1969.
He was employed for 30 years for the City of North Adams Public Works Department.
He was an active member of the Greylock Community Club and found support from the members in good times and bad times. He loved his family, friends, his dog "Buck," and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Jim also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include one brother, William E. Davis of North Adams; one sister, Donna Gwin, and her husband, Dr. Larry Gwin of Boulder, Colo.; nephew, Scott W. LeBeau, and his wife, Jane, of Cheshire; niece Ashley McClellan of North Adams, and an uncle Harvey Hinkell. He also leaves a large family in his heart of brothers and sisters.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will take place Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m.
