James M. Sloan James M. Sloan, 63, of Warwick passed away Wednesday at home. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Bousquet) Sloan. They were married on August 26, 1969. Born in North Adams, he was a son of the late Edward A. and Jane E. (McEvoy) Sloan.Mr. Sloan was an Electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local# 99 for 35 years and served with the Seabees in The United States Navy. He was a communicant of St. Gregory The Great Church in Warwick. He was a creative artist who had a passion for life. He was the loving father of Tanya R. Battiston and her husband Jacob of Unionville, Conn., and Heather M. Waddell and her husband Jeffrey of Wakefield. Caring brother of Patricia Brown of Florida, Barbara Gagnon of New York and the late Christopher and Ellen Sloan. Cherished grandfather of four. He is also survived by his parents-in-law Gerald R. and Marjorie (Foley) Bousquet of Worcester, Mass.; his brother-in-law Alan Bousquet and his wife Maxine; a special cousin Joseph Ryan and his wife Christine; and six nieces and a nephew. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Gregory The Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited.
