Janet M. Cardillo 1933-2012 Janet M. Cardillo, 78, died Thursday at home on Glendale Middle Road in Glendale, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 18, 1933 in Pittsfield, the daughter of Joseph and Marie Roviaro Consolini. She graduated from the former Williams High School in Stockbridge, in 1951. On February 14, 1953, she married Anthony J. Cardillo. He died on November 2, 1996. Mrs. Cardillo was an avid reader and loved playing pitch, knitting and crocheting. She was a member and past president of the G. Maroni Lodge #1620 Order of Sons of Italy and past trustee of the Massachusetts Grand Lodge. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Cardillo is survived by four daughters: Karen Grady of Lee, Nancy Cummings of Lee, Jan Shepard of West Stockbridge and Coke Forbes of Glendale who she lived with. Two brothers: Peter Consolini of Brainard, N.Y., and Joseph Consolini of Pittsfield. One sister, Geri Rice of Pittsfield. Ten grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren. Another brother, Robert Consolini died in May of 2010. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services for Jan Cardillo will be on Monday January 23, 2012 at 11 a.m., at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee with Deacon Edward Shaw, of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta in Housatonic and St. Peter's Church in Gt. Barrington, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in West Stockbridge. Visiting hours will be Monday morning from 9 a.m., until the time of the service.
