Jean E. Aulisio
PITTSFIELD - Mrs. Jean E. Aulisio, 70, of 30 Morgan St., died Tuesday evening at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on February 3, 1942 the daughter of William and Angeline Zaffea she was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
Mrs. Aulisio was a homemaker and had also worked at the former Hagyard Pharmacy in Lenox, Mass.
She was a lifelong resident of Pittsfield and a communicant of the former Mount Carmel Church.
Jean enjoyed gambling trips to Atlantic City. She was an avid sports fan, rooting for both the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She also enjoyed going to her grandson's sporting events.
She leaves her husband, Anthony Aulisio whom she married on September 3, 1961 at St. Joseph's Church.
Jean also leaves her children, Josephine Gaudette and her husband, Dan, of Dalton and Steven Aulisio and his wife Kimberly of Springfield, Mass.; a sister, Shirley Samale, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a brother, Walter Bloomingdale, of Tolleson, Ariz. and two grandchildren, Tyler Gaudette and Jillian Gaudette.
She was predeceased by a brother, William Bloomingdale.
Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mrs. Jean E. Aulisio will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 8 a.m. from the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield MA with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 am at St. Joseph's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Geoffrey Deeker, CSS priest in residence. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday, May 25, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m.
