1926 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Jennie Mary (Watroba) Lipari, 88 of 287 Benedict Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 27, 1926 in Pittsfield and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of Frank and Antonette Bogusz Watroba. Jen was educated in Pittsfield schools and a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She was a homemaker, mother and a devout Catholic. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, and the former Holy Family Church. Jennie loved her family, flowers, and her outdoor swings. When she was younger, she was an exceptional bowler and a longtime member of the Pittsfield Women's Candlepin Bowling League. She loved to sew, especially making Barbie clothes for her nieces. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Lipari Sr., they were married on Sept. 15, 1956. She is also survived by her son, Lawrence Lipari Jr., her sister, Irene Watroba, sisters-in-law; Ann Watroba, Dorothy Watroba and Phyllis Watroba, all of Pittsfield. Her other in-laws are Clifford and Mary Card of Clinton, Daniel and Barbara Janis of Revere, Francis and Theresa Lipari of Plymouth, and Ronald and Carolyn Rousseau of Pittsfield, along with 22 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Ignatius, Bronick, Stanley, and Walter Watroba. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 414 North St., Pittsfield celebrated by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker C.S.S. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 will be Tuesday from 9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Joseph's Food Pantry or , in care of the funeral home.
