Joan Anne Lefebvre
1931 - 2015 NORTH ADAMS Joan Anne (St.Cyr) Lefebvre 84, of 41 Taft St., died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Williamstown Commons. She was born in North Adams on February 10, 1931 a daughter of the George and Anna (McHugo) St. Cyr. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in North Adams with the class of 1948 and then graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Pittsfield in 1951. Joan was a registered nurse at North Adams Regional Hospital and for various nursing homes in Berkshire County. She was a communicant at Holy Family Church in North Adams and later at St's Patrick and Raphael Parish in Williamstown. Her greatest joy was her family and being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the St. Luke's Alumni Assoc. Her husband, Richard Louis Lefebvre, whom she married May 12, 1956 in St. Francis of Assisi Church died July 14, 2013. Survivors include her six children: Lisa Armstrong and her significant other, Chip Gardner, Leslie McConnell and her husband, Gary of VA, Patrice Maynard and Jay of Lanesboro, Richard Lefebvre and his wife, Diane of Clarksburg, Daniel Lefebvre and his significant other, Marilyn of North Adams and Jon Lefebvre and fiancee, Susan of Rhode Island. Nine grandchildren: Nick and Ben Randall, Seth, Allyson and Lindsay Maynard, Matthew, Tyler and Chelsea Lefebvre and Kayla Armstrong, one great-granddaughter, Angelyn Randall, one sister, Anne St. Cyr of Pittsfield and one brother, the Honorable Judge John St. Cyr and his wife, Jacqueline of Norton. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Jane Consolini. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Williamstown Commons for their dedication and love that they showed our Mom during her stay. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place Monday, August 31st at 10a.m. at St's Patrick and Raphael Parish in Williamstown, MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the St. Luke's Alumni Assoc. through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA. Dear Lefebvre Family-I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. You don't know me but your Mom was a bridesmaid at my wedding in 1955 after which I moved away. We worked together at the North Adams Hospital on the maternity ward for three year I remember her with great fondness She had a great sense of humor and was a delight to work with.She had her first date with your Dad on the evening of my wedding day which was October 1 1955. May wonderful memories sustain you during this time of sadness. God bless you all.
