John Frank Fresia

1937 - 2014 MILTON, VT. John Frank Fresia, 76, was set free from the bonds of this earth to be with his Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at the Vermont Veterans Hospital in White River Junction, with his loving family by his side. John was born on Sept. 29, 1937, in Pittsfield, Mass., the son of John and Josephine (Dellea) Fresia. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 - 1958. On May 9, 1959, he married his childhood sweetheart Judith Ann Passardi of Pittsfield, Mass. They were married for over 55 years. John worked for IBM as an Manager of the Research & Development Failure Analysis Division from 1965 to 1986. In 1986, he resigned his position at IBM to become pastor of Christian Faith Assembly, where he pastored for 28 years at the Old Brick Church, Route 2, Williston. John's entire born-again life was dedicated to the preaching of the gospel. He loved people and loved to share the truth of salvation. He is survived by his loving wife, Judith, of Milton, his sons Marc Fresia and his wife, Nena of Dayton, Nev., John M. Fresia of Essex Junction, his daughter, Lisa Fresia Cruz, and husband, Vince, of Grand Isle, by his grandchildren, Sam and Nico Cruz and Stacey Lane, and his great-granddaughters, Hope and Paige Lane. John is also survived by his sister, Gloria Chiaretto, of Oxford, Mass., his brother-in-law Floyd Passardi of Pittsfield, Mass., and by many very special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Armand, in 2012. John's family would like to give special thanks to the medical staff at the VA Hospital in White River Junction for the excellent care given him and his family during his stay. FUNERAL NOTICE: All are invited to a Celebration of Life on Friday Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Old Brick Church, Route 2 in Williston. In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory may be made to a .
