John J. Krzeminski

1936- 2012 ADAMS Mr. John Joseph Krzeminski, 76, of 19 Mill St., Adams, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y.

He was born in Adams on June 10, 1936, a son of the late Peter and Mary (Zultek) Krzeminski. He attended schools in Adams.

Mr. Krzeminski was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served with the United States Army until receiving his Honorable Discharge on November 30, 1964.

Mr. Krzeminski last worked in the Maintenance Department of Williams College until retiring. Earlier he had worked for Stanley's Lumber, Adams and the former Arnold Lumber, Adams.

He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. Later in life he made kielbasa and other smoked meats and took great pride in the growing of his organic vegetable garden.

His wife, the former, M. Jeannette Lecuyer, whom he married on October 27, 1979, died on February 27, 2011.

He is survived by; One Sister; Frances Filip and her husband Mathew of Adams; One Sister-in Law; Mary Krzeminski of Adams; Two Nieces; Linda Troy and her husband Thomas and Kristine Megaro and her husband Francis, all of Cheshire; Three Great Nephews; Colin, Michael and Matthew Megaro; Two Great Nieces; Margaret and Abigal Megaro; Two Step Daughters, Four Step Grandchildren and Three Step Great Grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother, Peter J. Krzeminski, Jr., and by a sister, Daisy Czelusniak.

John's family would like to express their thankfulness to the staff at Albany Medical Center ICU for their skillful and compassionate care during his illness.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be on Saturday, August 4, at 11 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 NOON in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor.

Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Stanislaus School, 108 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220.
