John-Paul Castonguay 1967 - 2012 PITTSFIELD John-Paul Castonguay, 45, of 17 Hollister Street, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, from injuries sustained after being hit by a train. Born in Great Barrington on Feb. 18, 1967, he was educated in Morningside Community School, Taconic High School, and Mount Greylock High School. Mr. Castonguay had been employed in construction work for Unistress and Form All and had done carpentry work as well. He enjoyed drawing cartoon characters and building models. He also enjoyed nature and fishing. Mr. Castonguay is survived by his father, Paul, and stepmother, Carole Castonguay of Springfield; his mother, Elna Castonguay of Pittsfield; a sister, April N. Castonguay of Pittsfield; a daughter, Krysta Bordeau of Pittsfield, and a son, Kevin Soucie of Texas; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina; and his former wife, Regina Errichetto Bordeau of Pittsfield. He will also be sadly missed by his many friends. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for John-Paul Castonguay will be held Wednesday, March 7, at 1:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his mother, Elna Castonguay, to help defray funeral expenses.
