John L. "Jack" Zelinsky

PITTSFIELD John L. "Jack" Zelinsky (Jack), age 31, of Pittsfield., left this life unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday, August 30th, 2015. He left behind the love of his life, his daughter, Alorah Lindsay. Jack loved and cherished his daughter and she was the most important person in his life. The love in their eyes when they were together glowed. He leaves behind his father, Charles Zelinsky of Pittsfield and his mother, Debra Goddeau who will deeply miss him and his step-father, James Goddeau Jr., of Pittsfield, his brothers, Nicholas Zelinsky, Joseph Zelinsky, James Goddeau III and Michael Goddeau. He also leaves behind his sister, whom he loved dearly, Mia Ann Tao Goddeau. Additionally, he is survived by his two grandmothers, Julie Demary and Lois Goddeau, both of Pittsfield, he leaves his aunt and uncle, George and Geraldine Demary of S.D., and aunt and uncle, Karen and John Cavanaugh of CT, and his uncle, Leonard Zelinsky of Stamford, CT. He also leaves behind his nieces, whom he loved, Nevaeh Weisbrod, and Carter Goddeau and his nephew, Nikko Zelinsky. His love for his nieces and nephew and his many cousins was deep and he cherished each moment with them. He was predeceased by his three other grandparents, George L. Demary, Frances Zelinsky and James "Tex" Goddeau. FUNERAL NOTICE: Zelinsky, John L. "Jack", age 31, of Pittsfield, died Aug. 30th. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday afternoon at 1p.m. at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the newly established educational fund for his beloved daughter, Alorah, in care of the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME
