Judith M. Dupuis

1940 - 2014 PITTSFIELD Judith M. Dupuis, 73, of Pittsfield, died Monday at her home. She had suffered a stroke in June and was in declining health. Born in Holyoke on April 24, 1940, the daughter of Donald and Ida May Boyington Harrington, she attended local schools and was a 1958 graduate of Lenox High School. Mrs. Dupuis was employed at Berkshire Medical Center in the admitting office for several years and later worked as an administrative assistant in the engineering department of General Electric Ordnance Division, retiring in 1997. She had attended First Baptist Church in Pittsfield and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and reading. Her husband, Raoul J. Dupuis, whom she married Oct. 25, 1958, died in 1980. Mrs. Dupuis is survived by two sons, Donald A. Dupuis and his wife, Cynthia, of Parma Heights, Ohio, and Jeffrey P. Dupuis and his wife, Kari, of Cheshire; her daughters, Paula J. Kellogg and her husband, Kirk, of West Lebanon, N.Y., and Tracy L. Dupuis of Hinsdale; her grandchildren, Jennifer George and her husband, Jason, and Andrea Dupuis, Kyle and Alanna Kellogg, Laura, Emily, Christopher and Joseph Dupuis; and great-grandchildren, Owen and Amelia George. She is also survived by her half-siblings; Robert Tremblay and his wife, Gerri, of Connecticut, David Tremblay and his wife Joan of North Carolina, and Linda Tremblay of Massachusetts. Besides her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved son, Matthew A. Dupuis, who died June 2, 2012, and by her sister, Ida May Harrington, who died Dec. 25, 2013. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside funeral service will be conducted at Mountain View Cemetery in Lenox at a date and time to be announced in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith's memory may be made to the in care of the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
