1944-2014 LEE Ms. Judith Goodwin of 150 Laurel St., Lee, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 6. Judith was born in Chelsea, Mass. on August 20, 1944 to Florence and Howard Goodwin. Judy resided for many years in the Palmer, Mass. area before joining the BCARC family in January 1996. She truly enjoyed spending her days with all of her friends and staf from the Center for Development in Lee. Judy's unique personality and sense of humor endeared her to all of those who had the pleasure of knowing and caring for her. Some of her favorite things included kittens and monkeys. Judy had a quick wit and a measure of independence that was respected by all. Judy leaves her wonderful sister, Diane Freese and her husband, John; nephews, John Michael and James Patrick as well as great-nephew, Isiah of Abington, Mass. Additionally, she leaves behind her special friends, Vicky, Cathy, Betsy and Christy. Many staff have worked with Judy over the years, all of whom are grateful to Diane for allowing us the joy of having her in our lives. A special tribute to Jean, Barry, Jaime, Jen, Ravyn, Kristal, Brionna, and Sadia for their support over the last few months as well as MaryEllen, Kristle and Norman. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Mass at 11 a.m. A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at 12 p.m. at Center for Development located at 133 Quarry Hill Road in Lee.
