Judy Hagberg

1942 - 2014 GREAT BARRINGTON Judy Hagberg passed away Friday evening, April 4, 2014, after a year long battle with cancer. Judy was born in Boston on April 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Alice and Jerome Donovan. She was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1960, followed by the Chandler School in Boston. She married Donald Hagberg in 1965, and together, the couple moved to Great Barrington. Judy was employed by a number of businesses in the Great Barrington area, including Kwik Print and Cain Hibbard Myers and Cook. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Great Barrington and served on the Worship Committee for many years. She was very thankful for the support of the church, community, and so many of her friends, through this most difficult time. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed life, and loved nothing better than getting together with her many friends to converse and laugh. She loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren dearly. Judy is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald Hagberg; her son, Jonathan and his wife, Cathy, and their four children, Addison, Natalie, Lauren, and Mary of Suffolk, Va.; her daughter, Ingrid, of Wells, Maine and her two children, Dylan and Sage; her son, Eric and his wife, Beth and their two children, Andrew and Audrey of Decatur, Ga.; her nieces, Kelly Coyne and Kathleen Blatney, and a nephew, Kevin Donovan. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Jay Donovan and William Donovan.
