1938 - 2014 WILLIAMSTOWN Karen "Kay" Ethier Wondoloski, 75, of 10 White Oaks Rd. Williamstown, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in North Adams on Aug. 25, 1938, a daughter of the late Irving and Myra Pierce Ethier. She graduated from Williamstown High School with the class of 1956. In her younger years, she was employed at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Mass. She was last employed for many years as a teacher's assistant at Mt. Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown. She was a devoted mother and loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Aruba. Her husband, James Stanley Wondoloski, whom she married Sep. 12, 1959, died Feb. 18, 2014. Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Ann O'Neill and her husband, Peter, of Adams; a son, James S. "Cricket" Wondoloski of Adams; a grandson, Keven Burda of Adams; a great-grandson, Myles Burda Lamore of Williamstown; a sister, Marcia Beer and her husband, David, of Williamstown; a brother, Gary Ethier and his wife, Michelle, of Pittsfield; a sister-in-law, Donna Wondoloski of Pittsfield; a brother-in-law, Christopher Wondoloski and his wife, Sharon, of North Adams; an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Bertram Vallencourt, and close friends, Frank and Cathie Obrey and Ray and Terry Piantoni, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by a son, Peter Ethier Wondoloski, who died Nov. 14, 1986. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Karen "Kay" Wondoloski will take place Tuesday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at the FLYNN DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. There are No Calling Hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the Greylock Community Club through the funeral home.
