Katherine provided a wonderful, loving life for her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved life and people and was kind to everyone she encountered. For years, the family home was along the Appalachian Trail and she would always invite and feed passing hikers. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, camping, listening to her husband play piano and visiting with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and gardener and loved horses, especially her childhood horse "Rusty" of which she spoke often. She served as a volunteer for Elder Services for many years, visiting the nursing home and sharing her love with the elderly and infirmed. She leaves her husband; Richard F. Mullins Sr. of Dalton whom she married on January 20, 1952 in Dorchester, Mass. They had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in January. Three sons; Richard F.
