1926 - 2016 Kenneth G. Sexton, 90, of Lillian Street, Pittsfield, MA passed away April 8, 2016 at Mt. Greylock Extended Care. Born January 25, 1926, in Waterbury, CT, he was the son of Harold and Gertrude Barrows Sexton. He attended local schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1943. After graduation he joined the United States Coast Guard, serving in WWII as a Machinist Mate 2 CL. After the service he worked as an Oil Burner and Heating Technician for 38 years, after retiring he worked part time at Pete's Motors as a maintenance foreman in the shop. He was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and Cerebral Palsy, also a member of the Power Squadron; life member of the Hudson River Power Boat Association, also an honorary member of the Coxsackie Yacht Club in New York and Albany Yacht Club, his hobbies included being an amateur Clown for functions and Parades. He attended South Congregational Church in Pittsfield, MA. His wife Dorothy V. Rowin whom he married October 30, 1948, predeceased him in 1998. Also his sister Betty Ann Rich, and his nephew Timothy Rich predeceased him. He leaves a cousin his caregiver Judy Levardi, Nephews Michael Cramer and his wife Christy and there family of Austin TX, Gary Cramer of Dallas TX, and several nieces and nephews and many cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 13, 2016 at 2pm at the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 EAST STREET, PITTSFIELD, MA 01201. Calling hours will be held from 1pm to 2pm until the time of the service. Rev. Joel Huntington pastor of South Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pittsfield Cemetery.
