Kenneth Thomas Gray, 80, of Bluffton, S.C., died on Oct. 29, 2013 at Hilton Head Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Rensselaer, NY, on Dec. 6, 1932, son of the late Thomas and Edna (Mackey) Gray.
In 1967 he moved to West Sand Lake with his late wife, Judith (Meagher) Gray. Together they ran the family trucking business, Gray Van Express, until retiring to South Carolina, Florida and back to South Carolina.
He is survived by five children, Kenna (Mike) DiBuono of Somers, N.Y., Kerry (Dick) Lenseth of West Sand Lake, N.Y., Colleen (Dan) D'Alfonso of Cicero, N.Y., Timothy (Cindy) Gray of Bluffton, S.C., and Cathleen (Darren) Stricklen of Middleburg, Fla. He also leaves 16 loving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was cremated in Bluffton, S.C. and his ashes will be interred at Memory Gardens in Albany, N.Y., at the convenience of the family.
The family will celebrate a Memorial Mass at 1 p.m., Aug. 23, 2014 at St. Henry's Church, 39 Old Route 66, Averill Park, NY.
