Obituary Condolences

Lauraine Little

1935-2013 Heaven is now graced with one of the sweetest people you could ever meet, Lauraine Noella Duby Little, who passed away on Monday morning.

She was born December 25th, 1935 in North Adams, to George Edward Duby and Yvonne Garand Duby, where she lived her early years.

She is the widow of Herbert Edward Little who she married in 1955. She lived all her married years in New York, until Herb's passing when she moved to Roanoke.

The people she touched and loved are many. Her bright blue eyes sparkled with joy when she smiled or laughed. Everyone she met was smitten by her. She loved baking, growing flowers and vegetables, bird watching, knitting baby blankets, and watching British comedies. Her only surviving sibling, Lawrence Duby has traveled far to say his goodbye with love and devotion.

Mourning her warm and loving heart are her son, Herbert Mark Little, of Needham, MA; daughters Marcia Anne Yates of Cary, NC and Monica Lynne (Timothy Paul) Hahn of Roanoke, VA, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who shall miss their Nana deeply and send her hugs and kisses in heaven.

She was everyone's darling at the Pheasant Ridge Assisted Living and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Look out heaven, Lauraine will be winning all those bingo prizes.

Peace and Love, Mom, Nana, Lauraine
