Lawrence Paul Folino Sr.
1923-2013 NORTH ADAMS Mr. Lawrence Paul Folino Sr., 89 of 69 Harris St. North Adams, died Thursday January 31, 2013 at Sweetbrook Care Center.
He was born in North Adams, on June 17, 1923 son of Anthony C. and Maria (DeMarco) Folino. He attended North Adams schools.
Larry worked at Sprague Electric Co. for twenty years and at Purina Chows for a short time. He was last employed at WR Grace for eighteen years until his retirement.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Larry enjoyed collecting stamps.
Survivors include one daughter- Rosemary St. Jean of Groton, Conn. Three sons; Ernest Folino of Wales, Maine; Theodore Folino of Wilmington, Vt.; and Lawrence P. Folino Jr. of Adams. Eight Grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Mary Domenichini of North Adams; a brother, Anthony Folino of Williamstown; and nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Two sisters and two brothers are deceased including Venice Trombley, Celia Dufresne, Alfred Folino, and Paul Folino.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Lawrence Folino will be Monday February 4, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be in the spring in Southview Cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
