1942 - 2016 Lawrence A. Osterhout, 74, passed away on Oct. 6, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center, surrounded by family. Born in West Stockbridge on June 16, 1942, he was the son of Ellis and Bernice Osterhout of Richmond. Lawrence Osterhout attended Pittsfield Public Schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1960. He worked at Kimberly -Clark Corp., in the former Schweitzer - Mauduit Inter-national paper mill in Lee. He was married to Gayle (Bona) Thomson. He loved being with all of his grandchildren and watching NASCAR. His parents, as well as his sister, Judy Hayford of Florida, predeceased him. He is survived by his siblings, Robert Osterhout of West Stockbridge, Edward Osterhout of Richmond, Irene Williams of Dalton, Beverly Latimer of Richmond, Ellen Hall of Pittsfield, Karen Burratto of Lee and Dorothy Barnes of Pittsfield. He also leaves his daughter, Deanna Hillard; grandchildren, Bobby, Michael, Zachary, Bailey, Kaylyn, Caleb and Evan; and his great-grand-children, Kylie and Karsen. SERVICES: Calling hours and a memorial service will be held from 5 to 7p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, at Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee.
