Leslie G White Jr.

1937-2013 PITTSFIELD Pittsfield- Leslie G White Jr., 76, died June 25, 2013 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Brownington, Vt., April 23, 1937 son of the late Leslie G and Geneva Moulton White Sr., he attended and graduated from Vermont schools. He was in the local #473 Laborers Union for 33 years retiring in 1997, he had worked for Peter Francese and Sons. He enjoyed hunting fishing Nascar and the great outdoors he also loved spending time with his family, kids, grandchildren and great grandchild. Les Loved and was loved by his family and friends and he was always there for them in times of need.

He is survived by his wife Carol Gordon White whom he married April 22, 1966; three daughters, Kathleen Filiault and her husband, Mark of Pittsfield, and Tammi Tessier, of Southwick, and Susan Sterchak and her Husband, Edward, also of Southwick; 3 sons Jeffrey L. White of Pittsfield, Michael J. Flaherty his wife Michelle of Pittsfield and Stephen P. Flaherty and his wife Christine of Pittsfield, 3 brothers, Earl White and his wife, Donna, of North Carolina, and Glenn White and his wife, Carol, of Pittsfield Jerry White of N.H ; 8 sisters, Dorothy Paige of Derby, Vermont, Margaret Piper of Hunlock, Pennsylvania, Jean Dopp of Burke, Vermont, Frances Aldrich of Bennington, Vermont, and Pat Kelly of Pittsfield Nancy Hayes of Conn, Gloria Crockwell of N.Y., Gail Robie of Pittsfield; as well as five grandchildren, Kelly Ann Flaherty, Jarred Flaherty, Nichole, Stephanie, and Jammie, and a great grandchild.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Leslie Glenn White, Jr., will be held Saturday, June 29, at 1:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, officiating.

Calling hours will be Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
