Lorraine B. Buckley 1919-2012 WINDSOR Mrs. Lorraine B. Buckley 92, of 151 Monahan Road, in Windsor, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Newark, N.Y. on March 29, 1919 the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine C. Burns Glanfield. Mrs. Buckley was a resident of Pittsfield most of her life and a 1937 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She was primarily a homemaker, but in her early years worked at the former Berkshire Life Insurance Company and the former England Brothers Department Store. She was a member of the United Commercial Travelers and a Communicant of the former St. Teresa's Church. Her first Husband, George M. Slocum, died February 24, 1961. Her second Husband, James J. Buckley, Sr. died November 30, 2002. She leaves her children, Kathleen (George) Nagelschmidt with whom she made her home in Windsor; a son George (Helen) Slocum of Vonore, Tenn. She is also survived by her other children Marge (Wynn) Wycoff of Pittsfield, Maureen Buckley (Shirley) of Dalton, Catherine (William) Banks of Springfield, Mass., William (Helen) Buckley of Wilbraham, Mass., Richard(Beverly) Buckley of Monroe, Conn., and James (Melody) Buckley of Alexandria, Va., 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: Mrs. Lorraine B. Buckley died Thursday, February 23, 2012. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the DWYER FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Charles Church at 10 a.m. celebrated by Rev. A. Peter Gregory, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, February 27, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of the DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
