Louis C. Segala Obituary
Louis Columbus Segala, 87 of Adams, MA died Tuesday November 15, 2016 at Springside Nursing Home.

He was born in North Adams, MA on October 12, 1929 son of Luigi and Maria Segala. Louis was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the US Army.

He was last employed at Mount Greylock High School and had previously worked at Sprague Electric Co for many years.

He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and was a member of the Adams American Legion. Louis enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and horse racing. He was an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandsons.

His wife was Florence (Wolkowicz) Segala who died on February 20, 1996.

They were married on September 22, 1956.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law- Paul and Jennifer Segala of Hobe Sound, FL and his two grandsons; Troy of New York City and Austin of Hobe Sound, FL. He also leaves four sisters; Angelina Downs, Mary Therrien, Margaret Stefanski and Jacqueline Cote; one brother; Frank J. Segala; his sister in law and friend, Valerie Piantoni and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister and three brothers including Catherine Griswold, John Segala, Joseph Segala and a brother who died at birth.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Louis Segala will be celebrated Monday November 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.

Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA will be Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
