Lucille A. Breault

1939 - 2014 PITTSFIELD Lucille A. Breault, 74, of 339 Highland Ave., died at Berkshire Medical Center on Feb. 14, 2014. Born in Pittsfield, Sep. 21, 1939, she was the daughter of Edward W. and Gertrude L. Mack Fox. She was a 1957 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She was a teachers aide in the Pittsfield school system for over 15 years. She was also a switchboard operator at Hillcrest Hospital for 15 years, and had worked at the former Scholes Nursing Home. She was a volunteer at the Adult Learning Center and Elizabeth Freeman Learning Center. She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and a member of its St. Ann's Guild, before becoming a communicant of St. Charles Church. Lucille was in pitch leagues and enjoyed crocheting afghans and scarves for many. She was a fan of the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics. She leaves two sons, Norman L. Breault, and Daniel E. Breault and his wife, Shannon; a daughter, Kelley A. Breault Schanz and her husband, Eric; and a brother, Joseph E. Fox, all of Pittsfield; a sister, Doreen M. Vilot of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; six grandchildren, Zachary, Courtney, Erin, Haylie, Quinn and Morgan; many nieces and nephews and a very dear friend, May Riel of Manchester, N.H. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Emily. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Lucille A. Breault, who died Feb. 14, 2014, will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at St. Charles Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday at DERY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St. 01201.
