Lucille Jzyk 1925-2012 ADAMS Lucille Jzyk, 87, of 4 East Walnut St., died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on May 17, 1925, daughter of the late Ovide and Helene LaBelle Lemoine she attended Adams Schools including the former Notre Dame School. Mrs. Jzyk was employed with the former Berkshire Mills in Adams for several years, but was a homemaker the majority of her life. She enjoyed reading, loved socializing and discussing politics, but most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams. Her husband Walter Jzyk, whom she married on January 19, 1946, died December 28, 1988. She is survived by one son, Richard Jzyk and his wife Adela of Adams, one daughter, Barbara Lawson and her husband John of Adams, one sister, Rita Milos also of Adams. Two grandchildren, Haley Lawson and her fianc'ee John Phelps of Attleboro, Ma., and Chad Jzyk and his wife Marcia of North Adams, two great grandchildren, Keira and Lauren Jzyk, one brother in law, Stanley Jzyk of Glendale, Arizona, three sister in law's, Dorothy Jzyk of Seattle, Washington, Joan Lemoine of Adams, Irene Jzyk of Vernon, Conn., and several nieces and nephews She was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest, Maurice and Lawrence Lemoine. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Lucille Jzyk will take place Monday, July 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Pope John Paul the Great in Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor, burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams will be Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to the Cure JM Foundation for juvenile myositis in care of the funeral home.
