"Bunny" DeMastrie

1946-2015 NORTH ADAMS Madeline E. "Bunny" DeMastrie, 68, of 85 Eagle St. died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home. She was born in North Adams on April 22 1946, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Anastasia (Januska) DeMastrie. She attended schools in North Adams. Bunny helped her sister at Quadland's Flowers and Gifts in North Adams. She was a former communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Bunny was an avid reader and loved all animals especially horses. She collected toy horses, loved going to horse shows, and doing puzzles. Survivors include her sister, Cynthia Martin and her husband, Thomas of Clarksburg and her brother, Gary DeMastrie of Ogden, Utah. She also leaves nieces and nephews, Lisa, Jeffrey, Stacia, Dawn, Daniel Samuel, and Carl; and special greatnieces, Kati Lyn and Lindsey. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will take place in the spring. Calling hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, Mass. are Friday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Berkshire Humane Society through the funeral home.
