Margaret "Peg" Mazur 1925 - 2012 PITTSFIELD Margaret E. "Peg" Mazur, 86, of 2622 San Simeon Drive, Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born in Pittsfield on Oct. 12, 1925, daughter of Francis W. Decelles and Elizabeth O. Maynard Decelles. She received her education from Pittsfield public schools, graduating from St. Joseph's High School in 1942 and St. Luke's Nursing School in 1944 and was employed by St Luke's Hospital and Berkshire Medical Center as a pediatric nurse until retiring in 1989. She married Robert S. Mazur in 1947 in Pittsfield. She devoted her life to taking care of her six children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking, decorating her house, gardening, walking, and her various pets throughout the years. She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Mazur; three sons, James R. Mazur and his wife, Laura, of Petersborough, N.H., Paul A. Mazur and his wife, Kathy, of Kernersville, N.C., and John P. Mazur of Iowa Park, Texas; two daughters, Marcia A. Hudspeth and her husband, David Hudspeth, of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Sandra S. Ray and her husband, Steven J. Ray, Sr. of Pittsfield; 10 grandchildren, Michelle Cooper and Jennifer Griffin of N.H., Catelyn and Arron Schacht of Ann Arbor, Mich., Shane Mazur and his wife, Reshel, of Houston, Texas, Karrie Glover and her husband, Eric, of Dayton, Ohio; Nicole Costa Saenz and Lisa Hudspeth of Wichita Falls, Texas, Steven J. Ray, Jr. of Medford and Shannon M. Ray of Pittsfield; 10 great-grandchildren, Brady and Ava Cooper, Chayne, Jourdon and Kylie Mazur, Morgan, Madison and Chase Glover, Emily Costa and Zackery Saenz. She was predeceased by her siblings, brother Francis Decelles and sister Theresa Decelles, her son Mark E. Mazur, and daughter in-law Dianna Mazur. The family will have a family graveside service at a future date.
