1930 - 2015 ADAMS Mrs. Margaret P. (Williams) Paradise, 85, of 3 Myrtle St. died Monday afternoon, October 19, 2015, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in North Adams on July 26, 1930, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Clark) Williams. She attended North Adams schools, and graduated from Drury High School. She had lived in Cheshire for several years, until moving to Adams several years ago. Mrs. Paradise worked at the former Cornish Wire Corp. in Williamstown for many years, until retiring. She attended St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire, and was a member of Dr. George L. Curran Post 996 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, North Adams. She enjoyed playing Bingo and taking trips to the casinos. Her husband, Charles L. Paradise, died on June 10, 1985. She is survived by her son, Foster Paradise and his wife, Paula, of Adams; two granddaughters, Heather Edwards and Christy Meagher, both of Agawam; three great-grandchildren, Cora and Matthew Edwards and Jack Meagher, all of Agawam; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Steven Paradise, in 1955; two brothers, Franklin and Foster Williams; and by three sisters, Barbara Chapman, Gloria Roncaioli, and Virginia Deblois. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 24th, at 8:45a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire, celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, Pastor. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, 573 Mohawk Trail, North Adams, MA 01247.
