Margaret A. (Harding) Tarble

1919-2013 PITTSFIELD Margaret A. Tarble went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2013.

She was born January 20, 1919 in Pittsfield, the daughter of William McBurney and Helen Fyfe McBurney.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Bernard S. Tarble; and sons, Bruce J. and William F. Harding. (Also, first husband, John W. Harding Sr.)

She lived in Greene, N.Y. since 1967 and died at the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford, N.Y.

She is survived by sons, John W. Harding Jr. and Rev. Douglas E. Harding and his wife, Angela. Stepchildren, Eileen O'Brien and her husband Al, of Maple Shade, N.J., Karen Spicer and her husband Kenneth of Green River, Wy. and Michael and daughter-in-law Carol Tarble of Fort Pierce, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Linda Harding of Merced, Calif; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a member of Morningside Baptist Church in the early 1960's and the Daughters of Scotia.

Margaret truly loved spending time with all her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her home in Greene, N.Y. that her late husband, Bernie, had remodeled for her.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service will be held at the Greene Assembly of God in Greene, N.Y. on Wednesday, June 12 at 11 a.m. Rev. Tony Searles (married to granddaughter, Anglea Harding Searles) and her son, Rev. Doug Harding will officiate. She will be buried next to her two sons, Bruce and William on Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. in the North Becket (Mass.) Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greene Assembly of God, 1035 County Road 9, Greene, NY 13778.
