Marie Nadeau
1939 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Marie Nadeau, 75, of Pittsfield passed peacefully at Hillcrest Commons on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Born in Les-Etroits, Providence of Quebec on July 11, 1939. She was raised in Canada by Patrick and Florina LaRouche. The family moved to Caribou, ME where she attended local schools and learned to speak English. She met future husband Reno Nadeau in 1958, now pre-deceased, while visiting her cousin where he was stationed at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee, MA. They married in 1961 and lived in various places in the United States until settling in Pittsfield in 1965. She was a member of the Notre Dame Parish of Pittsfield. She worked in the deli at the Dan Fox Dr. Stop N' Shop for 18 years and was loved by many. She retired in 2014. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a lifelong rescuer of animals, particularly cats, ducks, and rabbits. She is survived by her children, Daniel Nadeau and wife, Lynda Scace Nadeau, Douglas Nadeau, Patrick Nadeau, and daughter-in-law, Jamie Smith Nadeau, and grandchildren, Tasha, Kristen, Alexander, Cierra, and Nicholas all of Pittsfield. Besides her children and grandchildren, she is survived by sister, Prescilla Coyne of Schertz, TX, and brother, Reginald Larouche and wife, Irene Daigle Larouche, of The Villages in FL, and nephews, Gary Coyne, Michael Larouche, Gregory Larouche, and Daniel Larouche. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held MONDAY, JUNE 29, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA. Burial will follow in the Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be TODAY, FRIDAY, JUNE 26, 2015 at the DERY FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, in care of the funeral home.

It has been 4 years now . . . and it still feels like yesterday. I very much miss you Mom. As my years go on, I feel comfort that I will be with her sooner than later. Till then, My love for you is absolute and true.

i remember my memere, she was strong and bold and a little crazy in a good way, i am 13 now and its been almost 3 years since, i can't believe it still. i miss her and i hope she doesn't get lost in heaven.

Condolences to Marie's family. I worked with her also a long time ago and loved her. What a wonderful person! I am sure heaven will be a better place with her there but she will be missed here. May God bless and keep her always!
