1948 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Mrs. Marilyn C. Reeves, 66, of 39 Ontario St., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Monday evening, April 13, 2015. Born in Pittsfield on November 30, 1948 the daughter of Perry and Christine Tucker Brown, she was a 1966 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mrs. Reeves was currently working as a Medical Receptionist at Berkshire Physical Therapy where she has been employed for the past 17 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church on South St. Marilyn was a masterful crocheter and enjoyed traveling with her husband and taking trips to the casino with her sister. She, with her husband Paul, was an avid Red Sox fan. Marilyn was a hard worker who will be remembered as an all-around great woman; and by her family, the one that kept everyone together. She leaves her loving husband of 27 years, Paul Reeves, whom she married on June 25, 1988. She is also survived by her three children, Karen Vonberg and her husband, Derrick of Otis, MA, Amy Renaud-Mutart and her husband, Alan of New Lebanon, NY and Jeffrey Renaud of Pittsfield; two step-daughters, Darlene Williams and her husband, Frank and Michelle Rivers and her husband, Steven all of Pittsfield; two brothers, Wayne Brown and his wife, Vicki of Tampa, FL and William Brown and his wife, Barbara of Orlando, FL; a sister, Ruth Pierce and her husband, Frank of Cheshire, MA; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn C. Reeves will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 8 a.m. from the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA with a 9 a.m. funeral service at the First Baptist Church with the former pastor and current Chaplain for HospiceCare in the Berkshires, The Rev. Dr. Robert M. Rennie , officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday, April 17, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, in her memory.
