Marion "JoAnn" Regan

1934 - 2016 Marion "JoAnn" Regan, 82, of Lanesborough, passed away on September 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She made her final journey just hours before her husband Bob joined her. She was born in Pittsfield, MA on February 19,1934 the daughter of George and Doris Brewer Phillips. She graduated from Pittsfield High School. Shortly after graduation, she married her first husband Bert Robinson on June 23, 1951. They moved to Lanesborough and raised their four children until Bert's death in 1989. JoAnn also enjoyed a career in banking with First Agricultural Bank in Pittsfield. She married her second husband, Robert Regan, on February 6, 1993. Upon Bob's retirement, they moved to Tavares, FL where they lived for 15 years. They enjoyed playing golf, visiting with friends, and taking rides on their pontoon boat. JoAnn is survived by her four children with her first husband, Bert. They are Diane Seagraves (Curt) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Cheryl Weider (Ronald) of Lanesborough, Mitchell Robinson of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Kelly Parzick (Shaun) of Lanesborough, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves Bob's children Colleen Ostrander (George), Karen O'Neill (Rick) both of Pittsfield, and Robert J. Regan, Jr. (Myssi) of Westfield. She is also survived by her sister Judy Tobler and brother Robert Phillips. JoAnn spent her final months caring for her beloved husband, Bob, in order to fulfill his wish to remain at home during his illness. He passed on September 22, 2016, just 36 hours after her passing. Besides her parents and first husband, Bert, JoAnn was pre-deceased by her brothers Lloyd, Richard, and Daniel Phillips, as well as her sister Helen Bailey. FUNERAL NOTICE- A memorial service to honor both Bob and JoAnn is to be held Wednesday, September 28 at 12:30pm at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Stephanie Filiault, officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service starting at 11:30AM until the start of the service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bob's memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
