1966 - 2013 PITTSFIELD Mark Jeffrey Kenyon, Jr., 46, of 160 Newell Street, peacefully passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, Feb.26, 2013.
Born in Abington, Pa., on Oct. 23, 1966, the son of Mark J. Kenyon, Sr., and Gale Aurand Kenyon, he was a graduate of Jaffrey (New Hampshire) schools.
He joined the Army after high school where he served as a combat medic. There he met his loving wife, Danielle Macik, whom he married and lived happily with for 25 years.
Mr. Kenyon, a respected, hard-worker was a self-employed concrete contractor in the construction industry, as well as working for Wellkamp Enterprises, Form-All Construction, Dodge Construction, and Selmer Bros., all of New England.
He enjoyed mud bogging, history, music, and spending time with family.
Besides his wife, Danielle Macik Kenyon, whom he married Aug. 6, 1988, and his parents of Punta Gorda, Fla., Mr. Kenyon leaves a son, Mark J. Kenyon, III, of Pittsfield; a sister, Melissa Kenyon, and a niece, Miranda Ellis, both of Punta Gorda, Fla., and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Mark Jeffrey Kenyon, Jr. will be held Friday, March 8, at 4 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sigmund Sadzinski officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Berkshire Museum in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
