1928 - 2013 LEE Marshall Coty, 84, of Stockbridge Road, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born June 18, 1928, in Pittsfield, son of Joseph and Lillian Gangell Coty, Marshall was educated in Lee Schools.

As a young boy, worked at Brant Lumber Co. in Lee. Marshall was then employed by Kimberly Clark and retired from the then Peter J. Schweitzer Paper Co. in 1991. He worked as a maintenance worker at the Berkshire Hills North Nursing Home from 1991 to 1996 and then at the Prime Outlets from 1996 to 2006.

He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed cards and playing with his great-grandchildren.

Marshall is survived by his wife, the former Jeanette Ondress, whom he married in 1946; a daughter, Marcia McCloskey, and her husband, Robert, of Broadbin, N.Y.; two brothers, Richard Coty, and his wife, MaryLou, and John Coty, and his wife, Mary, all of Lee; three sisters, Hattie Clark and her husband, Paul, Edna Shaefer, Lillian Hiser and her husband, Philip, all of Lee; two grandsons, Todd Bush and his wife, Jana, and Jason Bush, and his wife, Sarah, and five great-grandchildren, Travis and Owen Bush, and Bailey, Devin and Deacon Bush.

He is predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Coty, who died in 1980.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Marshall will be Tuesday, April 30, at 9:15 from the KELLY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, April 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in Marshall's memory to the Kelly Coty Scholarship Fund in care of the Kelly Funeral Home 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
