Mary Kay Chester

1939 - 2014 PITTSFIELD Mary Kay Chester, 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in Sun City West, Ariz. She was born in Pittsfield on May 29, 1939. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Mary H. Cunningham. Mary Kay received her undergraduate degree in English from Elms College and her Master's degree in Education from Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. She was co-Vice President of membership for the Northwest Valley branch of the American Association of University Women. Mary Kay taught high school, middle school and elementary levels in the Pittsford Central School District in New York State. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Guy K. Chester, originally of Pittsfield. She is survived by her son, Bill Chester, his wife, Roberta and their four children, Katelyn, Billy, Michael and Joseph of Warrenton, Va.; her daughter, Jennifer, her husband, Jonathan and their three children, Remi, Lila and Nolan of Mt. Kisco, N.Y. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held in Pittsford, N.Y., on July 12, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Transfiguration Catholic Church.
