Mary C. Duzlak 1921 - 2012 PITTSFIELD Mary C. Duzlak, 91, died Saturday at Hillcrest Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield. She was born in Pittsfield on May 7, 1921, daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Gianotti) Zullo, and attended Pittsfield schools, graduating from Pittsfield High School. She was employed at Editions Limited Co. for many years and retired in 1975. She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church and she enjoyed cooking, crafts, knitting, crocheting, raising flowers and spending time with her family. Her husband, Edward Duzlak, died on Nov. 23, 1980, and they were married on Aug. 2, 1941. Survivors include one son, Robert Duzlak and his wife, Linda, of Pittsfield; one brother, Herbert Zullo of Pittsfield, one sister, Lena Scapin of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, Robert Duzlak, Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Carollee Hilton of Concord, N.C.; Richard Duzlak of Pittsfield; two great-grandchildren, R. Cole Hilton and Chloe Duzlak, and her doggie babies, Peanut and Butchie. Mary was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters, Anthony, Alfred and John Zullo, Madeline Salvatore, Emily Alfonso, and Anna Bassett. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mary C. Duzlak will be Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, celebrated by the Rev. John C. Salatino, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, Mass., 01201 will be Thursday, May 24, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
