1929 - 2015 MILLERTON Mary Patricia "Pat" McGrath, 86, a 12 year resident of Millerton, NY, formerly of Breezy Point, Queens, NY, died peacefully at her home in Millerton with her family by her side. Mrs. McGrath had worked for New England Life Insurance Company in Manhattan, NY, for over 30years, retiring in 1991. She was also the church organist for St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Breezy Point for over 35 years. Born January 25, 1929 in Dalton, MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Duffy) Haner. Pat graduated from Dalton area schools and received her Bachelor's Degree in music and education from The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. On June 28, 1958 in the Bronx, NY, she married John Paul McGrath. Mr. McGrath died March 13, 2013. Some of Pat's fondest musical memories were attending a Don Ho concert in Hawaii and seeing Jimmy Buffet perform in Las Vegas, Nevada. She will be greatly missed by many and fondly remember by all. Pat is survived by her daughter, Catherine McGrath of Millerton, NY, and her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Melanie McGrath of Dalton, MA. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Rt. 22/Lavelle Rd., Amenia, NY 12501. The Rev. Godfrey will officiate. Private burial will take place at Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to Noble Horizons Auxiliary, 17 Cobble Road, Salisbury, CT 06068.
