Mayme S. Frambach

1920-2013 DALTON Mayme S. Frambach, 92, of Oak Street Extension, passed away peacefully at Berkshire Medical Center on March 2, 2013 with her loving family at her side.

Born in Laconia, New Hampshire on June 2, 1920, the daughter of Leon J. and Sadie L. Flanders Barnum, she attended Canaan High School in Canaan, New Hampshire.

Prior to her marriage she was employed by Crane & Company.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Dalton. Mayme enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and was an avid bowler.

Her husband William Daniel Frambach Jr., whom she married January 14, 1942; predeceased her on April 23, 1990.

Mayme is survived by her daughters Mary L. Hopkins and her husband David of Dalton, Mass., Diana L. Pease and her husband Ronald of Dalton, Mass.; sons, William J. Frambach of Dalton, James K. Frambach and his wife Joanne of Pittsfield, Mass., son and caregiver Alan E. Frambach of Dalton, Mass.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters , Ida Tucker of Pittsfield, Marguerite Bliss of Canaan, N.H.; brother Charlie Barnum of Orange, N.H.; son-in-law Mark Brown; and her faithful companion Princess. Mayme was predeceased by her sisters Doris Couch, Dorothy "Dottie" Hurst and brother Leon Barnum Jr.

Mayme will be sadly missed and her love for family will be carried on thru her spirit forever.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Mayme S. Frambach will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 11 a.m. at BARTLETT WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Alex Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashuelot Cemetery. There will be an hour of visitation on the day of the service at the funeral home starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until the start of the service.
