Mildred M. Busl 1919-2012 NORTH ADAMS Mrs. Mildred Mabel (Blair) Busl, 92, formerly of 166 Phelps Ave. North Adams, died Monday afternoon, January 30, 2012, at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown. She was born in North Adams on June 2, 1919, a daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Platner) Blair, and attended North Adams schools. Until retiring, Mrs. Busl worked for many years as a health aide at the former Adams Nursing Home and its successor, Willowood Nursing Home in Williamstown. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of North Adams. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and loved animals. Her husband, Charles W. Busl, whom she married on November 7, 1941, died on February 18, 1991. She is survived by her daughter, Alaine Galli of Adams, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the last of her immediate family. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 3rd, at 11 a.m. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Rev. James LaMothe, Pastor of the Stamford Community Church, will officiate. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the service, in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
