Mildred L. Nadeau Obituary




Mildred L. Nadeau, 81, of Chesterfield, passed away on October 25, 2016, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born May 17, 1935 in Northfield, MA, the daughter of Marion (Metcalf) and John Nurse. Raised in Chesterfield, she attended area schools.

In her early career, Mildred graded eggs and later worked at National Grange and Peerless Insurance. She was employed by MPB (Timken) for 23 years before her retirement in 2000.

Mildred found pleasure tending to her gardens and relaxing with a crossword puzzle. She was also an avid sports fan enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots. Family was most cherished by Mildred and she loved them each for who they are.

She leaves behind her most proud accomplishments, her three children: Kim Nadeau of Chesterfield, Jay Nadeau of Hinsdale, and Sandra Scott of Fort Mill, SC; her partner, significant other, and best friend of over 30 years: Jack Mann of Chesterfield; her other two best friends, her siblings: Charlie Nurse of Chesterfield and Barbara Thomas of West Chesterfield; her six perfectly magnificent grandchildren: Jamie, Brianne, Darren, Kesha, Matthew, and Kristen; and two wonderful great grandsons: Dominic and Damien.

SERVICES: To keep with Mildred?s wishes, a private service at the Chesterfield West Cemetery will be held in the family plot.
