1930 - 2015 FLORIDA, MA Mr. Milton Aaron Poirot, 84 of 455 Mohawk Trail, died Thursday August 13, 2015 at Hillcrest Commons. He was born in Florida, MA on September 22, 1930, son of Adrian and Tressie (Burdick) Poirot. He attended Florida schools and graduated from the Drury High School with the class of 1949. Milton was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the US Army. He was employed by Sprague Electric Co. for 29 years until his retirement in 1992. Milton served as a deputy sheriff for Berkshire County. He enjoyed flying ultra-light airplanes. He took a great deal of pride in maintaining his property. Survivors include his wife, Betty Louise (Ogert) Poirot whom he married on August 29, 1953 and three daughters including, Lynn Gregory and her husband, James of Oak Island, NC; Leila Pisano of North Adams; and Lonnie Poirot of Spencertown, NY. He also leaves eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Alan Poirot of Florida, MA; one sister, Helen Sundquist of Germantown, MD and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, James Gregory Jr.; and one brother and two sisters including, Fay Beer, Norma Boucher, and Stephen Poirot. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Milton Poirot will be private. Burial will be in the Florida Church Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
